Subsequently, NHHP wound down, largely due to the impact of the adoption of the federal Affordable Care Act. Meanwhile, professionals continued to serve the State of NH through formation of the New Hampshire Vaccine Association (NHVA). NHVA preserved NH’s universal childhood vaccination program through the Great Recession. NHVA became a model for other states’ preservation or initiation of universal vaccination programs for both children and adults. Most of those states selected the KidsVax® team to provide turnkey administrative and executive director support for their operations.
Throughout its existence, KidsVax® (KV) called upon other outstanding professionals to supplement its core team and assure the continuation of high quality administrative services. BerryDunn is exemplary of KV's outside service providers. KV and BerryDunn, working together, have structured KV-Re to support state insurance departments, public health departments, and others as they seek to advance other healthy insurance markets and other initiatives to improve access to healthcare at state and local levels.
